Object brief

It's been a while, but I have been keeping busy with the object brief

I chose to study and look at my found object (the coconut) and my disgusting object (the apple core) I thought these would go well together because they are both natural objects. From these I generated drawings and a large wall piece. The style of the wall piece is inspired by the work of artist Jaybo Monk. In particular his collection entitled "Hazardous Brushstrokes" the colours and the techniques he uses creates a textured worn down look and I really like this.
